Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma facility, requiring both scrub and circulate skills across multiple specialties.
Details
- Operating Room unit within a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- May be required to float to other Cook facilities within a 50-mile radius, with as little as 2 hours notice
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- Level 1 Trauma OR experience required
- Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating
- Required experience in Orthopedics, Vascular, Neuro, and Trauma surgical cases
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care including scrubbing and circulating duties across multiple surgical specialties
- Local candidates are welcome to apply within a 75-mile radius of the facility
- RTO limited to 5 days maximum with no more than 2 consecutive days off
- Weekend time-off requests will not be approved
- No holiday RTO permitted, including the day before or after a holiday
- Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not accommodated
- Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exceptions; booster not required
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer
