Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift CT Technologist for an acute care hospital, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology CT Scan department
• 3 CT scanners on site: Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, and Canon Prime SP
• Performs CT scans of all body parts including pediatric and cardiac imaging, plus procedures such as biopsies, drains, and ablations
• Average of 3-40 scans/studies per 10-hour shift
• Uses EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS (experience preferred but not required)
• 10 and 12 hour shifts; schedule includes mon-thurs 1900-0500 for the first half of the contract and fri-sun 1800-0730 for the second half
• Shifts are assigned with no blocked scheduling or special requests accepted
• Weekend shifts required per schedule
• Call may be available if agreed upon
• Works only at the main campus with no floating to other locations
• Lead tech and supervisor present during weekday daytime hours
• Radiologist available in-house

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required; Canon experience not required
• Must be able to start IVs
• Strong patient care and procedural skills required
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Driver's license required for consideration

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Blue scrubs provided
• Holiday coverage required as needed unless otherwise agreed upon
• Cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts per 13-week contract
• Radius rule requires candidates to live 50+ miles away; local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least one year before applying for a travel assignment
