Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment in Atlanta, GA, requiring GA or compact RN licensure and strong pulmonary experience.
Details
- Internal Medicine unit at a hospital in Atlanta, GA
- Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- EPIC EMR used
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience required
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong pulmonary experience required
- Experience with telemetry interpretation required
- Experience with trachs and chest tubes required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care within an internal medicine unit
- No local candidates allowed; must reside 50+ miles from the facility
- Former Emory employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if requested on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request allowed per assignment
