Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit with strong Ortho and Neuro background and a GA or compact license required.
Details
- Med/Surg unit at a hospital in Atlanta, GA
- Focus on Orthopedic and Neurological patient populations
- 3x12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience required
- Strong Orthopedic and Neurological experience required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
- Former Emory health system employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Time off requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday time-off request is allowed per assignment
