Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MO or compact RN license and comfort caring for both mother and baby.

Details

• Acute care Family Birth Center with a 10-bed LDRP unit, Level II Nursery, and one operating suite
• Handles approximately 50-65 deliveries per month
• Cross-training required for Labor and Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and circulating for C-sections
• Uses MEDITECH EMR system
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p
• Every other weekend may be required
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Experience and comfort providing care for both mother and baby required
• Strong labor and delivery nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive care across labor, postpartum, and newborn nursery settings within the same department
• OR green scrubs provided by hospital with access to changing locker room
• Emphasis on candidates with strong labor and delivery experience
