Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring prior stepdown experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

Acute care Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown) with 22 beds
Patient ratio of 4:1
Unit supported by patient care techs and a health unit coordinator
Uses MEDITECH EMR
Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a
Weekend rotation required
13-week assignment

Requirements

Active MO or compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Previous acute Stepdown/PCU experience required
BSN not required

Additional Information

Provide critical care nursing to stepdown-level patients on a 22-bed unit
Work alongside patient care techs and a health unit coordinator for support
