Description

American Traveler is hiring a Multimodality CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and dual ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.

Details

• Multimodality technologist role covering CT and X-Ray imaging
• Adult and pediatric acute care and outpatient patient populations
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Possible float to like units within scope
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system
• Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C) required
• BLS and ACLS required (ACLS may be pending, must obtain within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• SCRQSA certification required
• South Carolina license required if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture required
• Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatric, and Orthopedic exams in both CT and X-ray modalities highly preferred
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Skills in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement preferred
• Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level 1 Trauma status and 865 staffed beds
• Responsible for performing CT and X-ray imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular studies
• May perform special procedures including coronary and vascular CTA
• Teal blue top and black bottom scrubs required
• Onetime $20 parking pass fee applies for nights and weekends
• During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
• First-time travelers considered but not preferred
• Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must be separated for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for approval
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius to qualify for standard travel rate
