Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• AHA certifications must be completed prior to start if non-AHA certifications are submitted
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are welcome to apply, though bill rate differs for local candidates
• Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
• Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
