Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with recent Cardiac Cath Lab and EP experience for a role requiring RCIS or ARRT certification.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 beds and a staff of 25
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart caths, structural heart procedures
- Uses X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox equipment
- Cerner EMR used
- 4x10 hour day shifts
- On-call required for night coverage
- Every 5th weekend on-call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
- No floating required
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- Recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required
- At least 1 year of recent EP experience required
- PICC line experience required
- RCIS or ARRT certification required for Tech positions
- License required if applicable
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures
- Surgical green scrub attire required
- Facility does not accept local candidates
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
