Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of CT experience and Philips equipment proficiency.

Details

• Located in the Imaging department of a tertiary teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
• One weekend requirement per month
• Possible on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Performs CT scanning procedures including contrast media administration

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Philips equipment experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Compact license not accepted
• Ability to transfer and position patients using safe lifting techniques
• Ability to monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond to emergencies including basic CPR

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient setup, contrast administration, image capture and quality control, and assisting radiologists with specialized procedures
• Navy blue scrubs required as dress code
• First-time travelers considered
• Candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rates
• Former full-time employees of the health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO)
