Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma academic medical center, requiring ARRT-CT certification and Level I trauma hospital experience.

• Level I Trauma, comprehensive stroke, academic teaching facility
• 3x12 hour night shifts, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No floating required outside of scope
• All-Siemens CT equipment (ED, inpatient, ICU, outpatient) with identical protocols across units purchased new in 2020
• EPIC charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Level I Trauma hospital experience required - hard stop requirement
• Teaching hospital experience required
• ARRT-CT and BLS certification required; ARRT-R preferred
• License required if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Proficiency in abdomen/pelvis CT with and without contrast, chest CT, head and neck CT, spine and musculoskeletal imaging
• Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, drainage, vascular CTA, and transplant studies preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
• Experience with paracentesis/thoracentesis a plus
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, and Level I trauma settings
• All scanners are accredited by the American College of Radiology
• Ceil blue scrub color required
• On-site parking available at no cost
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must be located more than 70 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• RTO must be submitted with initial application, with additional requests subject to manager discretion
• Clinicians must shave to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing, as CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted
