Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry Stepdown RN with at least one year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license for a hospital step-down unit.

Details

• Step-down unit within a hospital setting caring for a Med/Surg Tele patient population
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day and night rotating shifts available (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30
• Shifts may be adjusted based on hospital operational needs

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applied specialty required (no co-worker references accepted)
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score

Additional Information

• Care for Med/Surg Tele patients with potential cross-coverage to additional units and the ED
• Required to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical/religious exemptions only
• Candidates with open background check cases or license hits will not be accepted
• Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
