Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med-Surg/Stepdown Telemetry position requiring 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience.
Details
- Med-Surg unit setting within an acute care hospital
- Placement on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry unit based on traveler's skills and greatest need
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Works every other weekend and every other holiday
- Uses Epic EMR
- Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Deliver patient care on a Med-Surg or Stepdown/Telemetry unit depending on facility need
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
- Only one submission permitted per Ascension facility system wide
- Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with management at least 45 days before assignment end date
