Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring Critical Access Hospital experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required as needed within scope
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Critical Access Hospital experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy, including starting and maintaining IVs preferred

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a Med/Surg unit

• Previous staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
