Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient care coordination role requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Care Coordinator role within the Case Management unit of an acute hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Performs discharge planning assessments and utilization review, including InterQual screening and transfer clinical appropriateness reviews
Requirements
- Active CA RN license (permanent, current Nursys record required at time of consideration)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Recent and required EPIC charting system experience
- Experienced Case Manager with strong discharge planning and utilization review skills
- Psych-social assessment skills required
- Acute hospital setting experience required
- BSN preferred
- Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address
- Two professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurses not accepted)
- Proof of vaccinations required for consideration
Additional Information
- Coordinates inpatient discharge planning and utilization review activities
- Screens transfers for clinical appropriateness using InterQual criteria
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
- Maximum of 7 days RTO required at time of consideration; no RTO accepted after submission
