Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift acute care hospital role requiring GE Hi Def or Revolution scanner experience and prior travel assignment history.
Details
- Radiology CT department in an inpatient acute care, level 1 trauma setting
- 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week with every other weekend required at minimum
- No block scheduling available
- 26-week contract assignment
Requirements
- MA license required if applicable
- Required experience with GE Hi Def or Revolution CT scanners
- Inpatient acute care and level 1 trauma experience required
- Peripheral IV skills required to start IVs on all outpatients
- Previous travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Nurse manager will conduct interviews and extend offers
- All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Interview availability must be provided at time of consideration
- Candidates must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least one year if previously employed there as travel, perm, or per diem staff
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis for this hard-to-fill role
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies

Cost-of-living is high, parking during day hours cost is $45 a day (better to take city transit), lots of call required for dayshift and evening shift
