Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT registration or registry eligibility and advanced CT certification.

Details

• Computed Tomography department at an academic medical center
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• No on-call required
• Weekend schedule required
• Uses EPIC EMR, PACS, and IMPAX service tools

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
• Registered with ARRT or registry eligible (must provide diploma copy if registry eligible)
• Advanced certification in CT required
• Must obtain registry status within one year of employment if registry eligible and maintain annually
• Current BLS certification required
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Conduct CT procedures and tests, including image acquisition, manipulation, and multi-planar/3D reconstruction
• Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and document pregnancy status per protocol
• Administer oral and IV contrast to adult and pediatric patients following safety protocols
• Transmit and verify images through PACS and EPIC, ensuring accurate charge and demographic information
• Precept new employees and students
• Must be able to work UNC holidays if needed
