Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and GE CT experience for a 13-week contract in a fast-paced imaging department.

Details

• 35-bed community hospital with ED, ICU, Med/Tele, and Labor/Delivery units
• Not a trauma, teaching, chest pain, or stroke-accredited facility
• CT department averages 30 studies on weekdays and 14 on weekends, including scheduled outpatients
• Serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patients
• 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Thursday, 0700-1730
• No floating required
• No weekend rotation or on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
• Department equipment includes GE Revolution Apex and Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injector

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• GE CT experience required
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate exams by acuity, including Code Strokes
• Knowledge of post-processing exams required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Perform routine and STAT CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients in a fast-paced imaging environment
• Administrative onboarding includes Epic and eLearning training on day one, with department-specific training for the remainder of the first week
• Travelers will work holidays that fall within their assigned schedule
• RTO requests require manager approval
• Black scrub color required
• Free parking available
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Radius rule requires candidates to live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
