Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Multi-Modality Specialist role requiring ARRT certification and proficiency in both X-ray and CT imaging.

Details

Critical access hospital setting within a 25-bed facility
Perform both x-ray and CT modalities on a regular basis
Uses Siemens CT scanner and Epic EMR
Day shift schedule, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 0600-1830
Performs mobile imaging examinations (radiographic and fluoroscopic) as needed

Requirements

Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required
BLS certification required
ARRT certification required
RT license required in state of practice (license required if applicable)
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years technical experience preferred
Certification in two additional advanced modalities (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography) preferred
Must safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
Must safely prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures

Additional Information

Performs two modalities competently in support of departmental operational goals
Tests defibrillator and checks integrity of crash cart
Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and local rates matching travel rates
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
Candidates with a prior negative licensure action will not be considered
