Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years experience and required CRT/Fluoro, venipuncture, and BLS certifications.

Details

• CT Scan unit performing CT, general radiography, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging
• Day shift, 3x12s with rotating schedule including 2 weekend shifts and 1 weekday shift per week
• Weekend shifts run 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM and weekday shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• One weekend shift per month and at least 8 weekday shifts per month required
• On-call responsibilities included
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience, though candidates with less experience may be considered
• ARRT registration required: R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R)
• Radiologic Technologist license required in state of employment (license required if applicable)
• Fluoroscopy license required if performing fluoroscopy procedures (license required if applicable)
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience required
• Must be able to care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric populations

Additional Information

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images appropriately
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior licensure action will not be considered
