Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position on night shift, requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.
Details
- Float pool position within the ICU
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36-48 hours per week
- Epic experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- ACLS and PALS certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of three years of ICU experience required
- Recent experience in ICU within the last three months required
- Cerner and Epic experience must be documented in employment history
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and humane care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and treatment teams
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Located within a Magnet-designated hospital network
- Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions possible
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
- No radius restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
