Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Float pool position within the ICU
- Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM, 36-48 hrs/wk
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required
- Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required
- Cerner and Epic experience must be documented in employment history
- ACLS and PALS certifications from American Heart Association required
- No candidates with a prior hit on license will be considered
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care priorities
- Develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care delivery
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Appropriately delegate tasks and coordinate healthcare team duties
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local rates match travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
