Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring Epic experience and the ability to float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Must be able to float between Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36-48 hours per week

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for an assigned group of patients
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and humane care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education as part of care delivery
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
