Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a GA or compact license and at least 2 years of recent OR experience for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Work in the Surgery department of a hospital operating room setting
- 12-hour day shift schedule with shift times varying between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM
- On-call requirements apply
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room specialty required
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
