Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a Float Pool position requiring Epic experience and the ability to float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Details

• Float Pool unit requiring flexibility across Med-Surg and Telemetry departments
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior license disciplinary action permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care planning
• Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and humane care
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local pay matches travel rate
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
