Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.
Details
- Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36-48 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license in California required
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
- Current PALS certification required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the ER specialty, within the last 3 months
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior license actions or disciplinary history allowed
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Provide patient/family education and participate in discharge planning
- Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- No radius requirement; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
