Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center requiring prior travel experience and strong surgical skills.
Details
- Operating Room unit within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- 10-hour day shifts scheduled from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- No block scheduling available
- Weekend shifts required 4 times per month
- Holiday coverage required
- On-call responsibilities included
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Strong OR skills with high rating on skills checklist required
- Burn experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume hospitals managing complex, severe, and diverse cases required
Additional Information
- Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trauma environment handling complex surgical cases
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler pay
