Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in 3-D mammography and stereotactic biopsy procedures.
Details
- Mammography department setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid state license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Proficiency with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, and Stereotactic Biopsy
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- May be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay rate; local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
