Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position requiring 18 months of tele experience and a GA or compact license.

Details

Pulmonary telemetry unit within a hospital setting
3x12 AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
No on-call requirements
Uses Meditech charting system

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand
BLS (AHA) certification required to start
Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
Skilled in IV insertion and PICC line care
Meditech charting experience

Additional Information

Provide telemetry nursing care within a pulmonary unit
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days when falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request permitted
