Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a clinic setting, requiring ARRT certification in both Radiography and CT along with 2+ years of specialty experience.
Details
- Clinic-based CT Body imaging unit
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week over 5 days
- 13-week assignment
- May be required to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
- On-call responsibilities may be required, including responding to an on-call pager
- Uses Epic for charting
- Flexibility to staff various work locations expected
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Associate's degree in a related field required
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
- State licensure required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT required, or 3 total travel assignments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work varied hours and shift lengths as needed

- Demonstrates competence across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
- Practices proper safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication
- Provides high level of patient service through proper communication, technique, and safety practices
- COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
- Returning travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from initial start date, followed by a required break before starting a new assignment
