Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring OR RN licensure and Epic charting experience with weekly call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
• Full-time schedule totaling 70 hours per pay period, alternating between three 10-hour days and four 10-hour days each week
• Variable shift start times of 06:30, 07:00, or 08:00
• Call required approximately one night per week and at least one weekend every six weeks
• Weekend call spans Friday department closure through Monday morning at 06:30, including both day and night coverage
• Floating required within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities, with priority floating to a hospital approximately 15 minutes away

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oregon or Compact)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within the GI/Endoscopy department
• Complete up to 8 hours of required non-billable training modules prior to start and annually thereafter
• Former employees of the health system are not eligible for travel assignments until six months have passed since their termination date
• Assignments generally begin within 3-4 weeks of the posting date
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
