Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• 3x12 night shift schedule, 1845-0715
• 13-week assignment length
• No block scheduling; flexibility required
• Floating to Post-Partum unit required based on patient care needs
• Care includes high-risk antepartum, C-sections, and magnesium sulfate drips

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience in a unit with comparable volume and acuity
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with magnesium drips and circulating/scrubbing for C-sections required
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include high-risk delivery assistance, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care
• Care for patients with conditions such as pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, and preterm labor
• Supports newborn care including APGAR scoring and neonatal resuscitation
• RTO limited to 5 days or fewer per assignment, with no changes permitted after submission
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
