Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of PICU experience.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts weekly from 19:00 to 07:00
- Rotating schedules alternate over several weeks, with no shift rotation within the same week
- Required to work a minimum of 2 holidays
- Epic EMR experience required, no exceptions
- Scheduling limited to 40 hours per week unless approved by unit manager
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA state or compact) required
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 3 years of PICU experience required
- BSN preferred, though diploma and Associate degree graduates from accredited (ACEN or CCNE) programs are accepted

- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
- Facility enforces a natural nail policy
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Travelers must not have been employed by this health system within the previous six months
