Description
American Traveler is seeking an RRT Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift assignment at a Level II trauma center.
Details
- Respiratory Services department within a large hospital system
- Adult, NICU, and Peds service lines covered by respiratory staff
- Patient ratios ranging from 10 to 25
- Equipment includes GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
- Cerner EMR used
- Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Varying weekend requirements with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating required to all critical care units and floors
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist required (CRTs will not be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- NRP certification preferred
- North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric patient populations in a Level II trauma center with comprehensive stroke and Level III NICU services
- Scrub color requirement is medium gray/pewter
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
