Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring ARRT (CT) certification and large hospital CT experience.

Details

Hospital-based CT department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients
Onsite CT modality position
Equipment includes GE HD Revolution, Siemens Flash, and GE Brightspeed scanners
Caseload of 2-3 patients per hour
4x10 hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
40 hours per week with a 30 minute meal break
No on-call requirement

Requirements

ARRT (CT) certification required
Large hospital CT experience required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Gray scrubs required for dress code
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
Former Emory staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed

The pros are used to work with awesome second shift/3rd shift supervisor

Cons

The cause nobody stays in touch with you. Nobody tells you anything you are lost when you worked there when it comes to information of things you should know as a Traveler when it comes to who to talk to in the department on different things it’s just all jacked up so just be mindful. It is a great place to work but at the same time management is not always around to help
