Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring at least one year of adult respiratory care experience.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy department in a 368-bed hospital
- 6 to 7 staff per shift, including 1 supervisor and 5-6 RTs
- Patient ratios of 35-45 UOS
- Uses Servo, Hamilton, and Airvo equipment
- Meditech EMR
- Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- No call requirements
Requirements
- RRT or CRT certification required
- Texas RCP license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of adult respiratory care experience required within the last 6 months
- ACLS certification required
- NRP certification required if caring for neonates
- NICU experience preferred
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Join a team-oriented respiratory therapy staff
- Dress code includes olive green scrub top and black scrub pants
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
