Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring IN or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment in a 30-bed Emergency Department
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Overall ED patient ratio of 1:4 medical
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Block scheduling available for discussion
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- TNCC, PALS/ENPC, and NRP certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, 5+ years preferred
- Experience in a Trauma Level 2 facility, Comprehensive Stroke Center, or Comprehensive Cardiac Center preferred
- Valid driver's license matching permanent home address required for consideration
Additional Information
- Work in a Trauma Level 2 facility with Comprehensive Stroke Center and Comprehensive Cardiac Center designations
- Includes a Pediatric Hospital within the hospital setting
- Sepsis care is a key performance focus area
- One week of orientation provided, including hospital orientation
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Must work both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months are accepted
