Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KY or compact license and two years of acute care and EPIC experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting in an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active KY RN license or compact license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Provide safe, effective, patient and family-centered emergency care
- Perform assessments and reassessments and independently develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, serving as a mentor/preceptor
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
