Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a KY or compact RN license and prior EPIC experience.
Details
- Surgical Services department within a hospital setting
- Shift hours 06:00-16:30 with on-call requirement of 25-30 hours per 6-week schedule
- 36 hours per week across 3 days, 12-hour shifts
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active KY RN license or compact license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Perform patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of clinical interventions in the OR setting
- Provide patient and family education related to surgical care, treatment, and discharge
- Mentor and precept licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Comply with regulatory standards and Practice Governance model
