Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a KY or compact license and two years of ICU and Epic experience.
Details
- Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital
- Night shift, 18:45-07:15
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or compact)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum two years of clinical ICU experience required
- Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education throughout care and at discharge
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serve as a mentor/preceptor to team members
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives under a Practice Governance model
