Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and strong travel experience for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• MRI Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• On-call required every other week from end of shift Friday to Monday at 7 AM
• Work includes abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI procedures
• Performs specialized imaging including MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, and image post-processing
• Uses GE, Philips, and Siemens MRI equipment along with PACS

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Strong travel experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Siemens experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and starting peripheral IVs
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scans across abdominal, neurological, thoracic, spinal, and musculoskeletal regions
• Work primarily in adult acute care and outpatient settings with some ER/Trauma exposure
• Expect to work some holidays
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
• Onsite drug screen conducted upon arrival, including marijuana testing with no exceptions for positive results
• Candidates should avoid substances that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
