Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of general, OB, and vascular sonography experience for a high-volume imaging department.

Details

Imaging/Ultrasound department setting
High-volume department requiring confident, self-sufficient performance
Performs general, small parts, OB (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester), and full vascular ultrasound studies
Schedule includes 2x12-hour shifts (0700-1930) on Saturday and Sunday plus 1x8-hour shift (0900-1730) on Monday
Requires 1 week of back-up call per rotation, Monday-Friday 2000-0700

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required
BLS certification (AHA only) required
RDMS-AB or RDMS-OB certification required
RDMS-RVT certification preferred
Active TX license required if applicable
Must be confident, self-sufficient, and able to keep up in a very busy department

Additional Information

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this travel position
Local candidates are not accepted
Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions granted
Scrub colors must be black, dark grey, or Caribbean blue
First-time travelers may be considered
