Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring KY or compact RN license and two years of acute care and EPIC experience.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
- Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
- 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Provides patient and family centered education throughout stay and at discharge
- Supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff
- Functions as a mentor/preceptor and supports evidence-based practice
- Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives within a Practice Governance framework
