Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring KY or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and two years of acute care and Epic experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shift, 18:45-07:15, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care
- Monitor and document patient response to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serve as mentor/preceptor
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives within a Practice Governance model
