Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room professional requiring a KY or compact RN license, two years of OR experience, and two years of EPIC experience.
Details
- Surgical Services department at a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 06:30-19:00, three days per week
- 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment
- Call requirements include 36 hours of evening/overnight call per 6 weeks and every 6th weekend
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum two years of OR (Operating Room) experience required
- Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Provides mentoring and precepting to staff
- Facilitates patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Applies the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care in patient care delivery
- Non-billable orientation applies
