Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of current ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details
- Critical access hospital Emergency Department serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually
- 12-hour afternoon/mid shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 36-hour guaranteed weekly schedule
- Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed
- Must work one full holiday block: either Christmas Eve through the weekend after, or New Year's Eve through the weekend after
Requirements
- Active VT RN license or compact license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
- 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting required
- 3+ months of travel nursing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Emergency Department skills checklist current within 1 year required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
- Must have own vehicle
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
Additional Information
- Screen and assess patients to determine severity of condition and appropriate course of treatment
- Any requested time off must be submitted and verified at time of profile upload; requests made after upload or during interview will not be approved
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO accepted for the assignment duration
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment
- First-time travelers may be considered
