Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital setting, requiring ARRT certification and the ability to cross-cover X-ray.
Details
- Acute care critical access hospital setting
- Performs CT imaging for ER, inpatient, and outpatient patients, covering all studies except cardiac and perfusion
- Uses a Siemens 64-slice CT scanner, Siemens C-arm, x-ray, portable x-ray, and GE portable x-ray equipment
- Meditech EMR/PACS system
- 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Mixed shifts with varied start times using team scheduling
- Weekend and holiday coverage required, with varying schedules
- Call/standby requirements apply
- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available during the day; night techs work independently with phone support
- Must be able to float and cover X-ray duties
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT and BLS certification required
- ND state license required if applicable
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test; facial hair may impact eligibility depending on fit test results
- Must be able to work independently on night shifts

- No clinical involvement in this role

- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies
- Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested upfront per 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved after submission
