Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma, stroke-certified hospital, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and 1+ year of CT experience.
Details
- Weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday), 2x12 hour days from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- No on-call requirements
- Level I Trauma and stroke-certified facility
- Adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department settings
- Equipment includes GE 64 VCT/Lightspeed, GE 128 Revolution, Med Rad Injector, and Ulrich motion injector
- Uses PACS and Epic charting system
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- License required if applicable
- Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Experience with vascular CTA, brain perfusion, biopsies, and drainage procedures preferred
- Proficient in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
- Must be able to work independently when needed
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted with 1 year of CT experience
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a differential rate
- RTO must be submitted and finalized prior to consideration, as changes after submission cannot be accommodated
- Any scrub color accepted
- Perform CT imaging across a wide range of specialty and trauma studies in a high-acuity trauma center environment
