Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.

Details

  • Children's Hospital setting within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
  • Pediatrics unit with patient ratios of 1:3-5
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
  • Floating required between units
  • On-call required based on unit census
  • Weekend requirement of 5 shifts within a 6-week period
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
  • 2 years of RN experience required
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in a trauma center environment
  • Scrub color requirement: Navy for RNs
  • Free parking available in unrestricted spaces with bike racks on-site
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
