Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring WA or compact RN license and telemetry/ACLS skills on night shift.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center hospital
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Every other weekend required
- Floating between units required
- Block schedule required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide PCU-level nursing care within a trauma center setting
- Scrubs of any color are accepted; surgical services attire provided
- Floating between facilities within the state may be required
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Minimal to no time off requests accommodated during this assignment
